Hand-wound guitar & bass pickups

Crafted in the PNW

Inspired by famed Jag wielding guitarist of the 90’s and a sleepy little surf town miles from Aberdeen. The Westport realized itself as a raunchier iteration of the classic offset pickup we all know and love.

WESTPORT

Jaguar Style Single Coil

GOLDEN GARDENS

Telecaster Set

Spanky and biting recreation from the “Golden Age” of Leo’s infamous blonds. Best enjoyed with an ice cream from Little Coney.

Crafted with enamel coated wire, wound around Alnico 3 poles.

OCEAN SHORES

Crisp and articulate. The moderate overwind of the Ocean Shores coil achieves an ideal balance of a tight and punchy low end, smooth mid-range, & detailed hi-frequency information without becoming too shrill or piercing. Perfect for classic Jazzmaster surf tones yet ready and willing to take on hi gain and shoegaze with the best of them.

Jazzmaster Single Coil

PARKS BAY

P-Bass Single Coil

Vinatge-voiced single coil echoing the chime and bell of the 50’s, yet capable of producing a heavy and powerful roar, akin to the ocean pounding the sea stacks of the Olympic Peninsula.

Crafted using the same spec heavy formvar coated 42 AWG wire used on the real 50's pickups, wound around Alnico 5 poles.

LA PUSH

Strat Set

Slightly overwound in comparison to vintage P-Bass pickups, resulting in a smoother top end, pleasing mid range bump and thick lows.

10,666 windings on each coil

Designed for the P-Bass, however these little firecrackers work wonders in short scale basses with a PB pickup configuration.

Aptly named after the seismically active fault line, the Devil’s Mountain was the result of an experiment to recreate my own ‘66 Mustang neck pickup. Nearing the end of the prototype build the spool of wire ran out at exactly 6,666 turns. Lo and behold, the output reading was nearly identical to the ‘66 at 5.43k Ω Bridge pickup comes in just over 6K.
